The weather may have been overcast but that didn't dampen the spirits of the golfers who played on Brandon Wood Golf Course on Saturday.

The course itself was in very good condition and once the rain clouds went the weather itself was pretty good. First up was Sphinx Chairman Joe Fletcher who pinged one straight down the middle to a round of applause (or was it boo's) from his fellow golfers.

So the day was set on its way there were tears and tantrums, bandits and sharks, some athletic golfers and some not so athletic but above an enjoyable day for all.
